Time, oh callboy of eternity

Open-air theater about time, mythology and the ephemeral
using masks, texts, and puppets.

Performing around an ancient sun chariot, two strange creatures - a lemur and a turtle - tell the tale of their own involvement in the origins of time and death. Sometimes grotesque and violent, sometimes gentle and loving, they look at what motivates people and illuminate the origins of the rhythms of life.

Far-reaching and impulsive music sustains the performance, which touches a number of genres to produce an opulent blend of baroque mystery play, scrolling texts, masked theater and garish puppet slapstick.

An assualt on the senses, a primed highwayman’s flintlock, a love story and an incendiary mind game for our times..
